He created this beautiful fruit by crossing an Atemoya (Cherimoya X Sugar Apple) back with another Cherimoya. The result was a fruit with an exotic appearance, flavor as good as any cherimoya, and easier to grow in the United States.The flavor of Leos #3 Atemoya is incredibly complex, with almost exaggerated tropical flavors. The fruit retains some chewy qualities from its sugar apple genetics, but is undeniably sweet and melting in the mouth.
